My 101 Scrap Projects

Inspired by Amanda Jean over at Crazy Mom Quilts (and my overflowing scrap bins), I’m starting a 101 Scrap Projects series of my own.  I probably have more yarn than fabric at this point, so that’s where I began.

Number one was for me, a little Mobius strip headband.

This was so quick and easy to make, and it feels a little like an old-school screen star turban to me.  Which is always fun.

Number two was a “rainbow frog hat,” as requested by my four-year-old.  I worked the whole piece in two strands of yarn at a time.  So it will be nice and warm, and it came together quickly.  I have a few very slow projects in the works right now, so I treasure the quick and fun ones.

And she really likes it, which is the very best part.
