A sure sign of spring; a six-pack of delicate pansies, almost ready to be planted outdoors in honor of my grandmother’s birthday.

But first, they’re good subjects for a little tea and watercolor time with my middle child. I treasure these quiet early afternoons with her when the youngest is asleep and the eldest is at school.
