Summer is upon us, and the children are finished with school. Surprisingly, it’s harder to take pictures now, because when I bring them to the park, they generally want to spend all of their time in places like this:
And who can blame them? The Discovery Grove is a lot of fun.
Those last two pictures were taken in March, but they are of the Discovery Grove, so forgive me for sneaking them in here.
We do occasionally get to take a little walk in the woods.
I really love the meadows, especially this time of year, but I find it hard to photograph and capture the beauty of the different textures. It’s fun to try, though.
I find so much inspiration in the meadow for things to paint or quilt. Someday.
