This Morning at Home

After a few days of cold rain, this morning is beautiful; cool and changing from mist to sun. Behold, the view from our kitchen balcony:

Bradford Pear

Our Bradford Pear is preparing to bloom, but with a chance of snow this weekend, it may hold off a bit yet. I think I’ll wait until next week to try to visit the cherry blossoms. But that’s okay. Our agenda for today includes a trip to the park for research for another design project.

Henry

As always, my handsome assistant is ready to help with a photo shoot.

What are you Doing, Mom

And indoors, the Christmas cactus is making up for the lack of outdoor blossoms with a second round of blooms in time for Easter.

Whatever else happens today, I can say that the day had a lovely start.
