My Mother

It is with great sadness that I announce that my mother, Merry Breed, passed away on Friday, July 15, 2016. She had been suffering in recent months from HLH, a rare blood disease.

But that’s now how I prefer to think of her.

This is how I think of her:

Mom and Becca Backpacking

Mom is full of joy, and ready to lead me on an adventure.

I will be posting regularly on the blog again, eventually, especially because my mother so enjoyed it. But for now I’m taking a break to spend time with family, which my mother loved to do too.

I love that picture. Moments like that are priceless.

Yes they are. Especially because I’m finding that my mom was usually behind the camera, taking pictures of us. So to see her in her element is truly a treasure.
