Work-in-Progress Wednesday: Dragon Scales

Feeling the need for a little fierce in my life (and not the Three-Year-Old Denied Screen Time variety), I decided to learn the Dragon Scale Stitch, AKA Crocodile Stitch.

I’m making myself a short scarf. Isn’t it pretty? The yarn is from my mom’s stash. I found several partial skeins, all without wrappers, so I don’t know what the yarn is, but it appears to be worsted weight. And it’s soft and it has sparkles.

As for my other November projects, here are the tallies as of now:

NaNoWriMo: 4,273 out of 50,000. To meet the goal I should be at 3,334 today.

NaBloPoMo: 2/30, right on target for November 2nd.

All this writing is taking up my free time, so I don’t know when the scarf will be finished, but maybe I can sneak in a few stitches here and there. Because sometimes I just need a dragon scale scarf.
