The Spring Before the Storm

We’re expecting real snow tonight–more than just a dusting–for the first time this winter. The kids are thrilled to finally get a chance for a snow day.

The current wind chill is 19 degrees. The trees, on the other hand, still look like spring.

These are a few more shots of the Bradford Pear in our backyard. I love those bright white flowers against the clear blue sky.
