“Ascent”

Sculpture and Sky 2

“Ascent,” by John Safer, on display outside the Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum Udvar-Hazy Center.

Sculpture and Sky

Blue sky, clouds, and polished steel.

I took these pictures on this week’s field trip to the Udvar-Hazy center. I found this sculpture, and the ways it reflected the sky around it, absolutely stunning.
