Where I Am (Being Published a Bit)

I’m sorry for the unintentional vacation from this blog. I went on vacation and… decided to stay on vacation for a bit. I have a lot of pretty photos to share soon.

But first, I wanted to share a few good things that have happened.

The Washington Post’s Capital Weather Gang has published a couple of my photographs:

“Mossy Tree,” illustrating “D.C.-area forecast: Rain relents today, but more coming”

“Daisy,” illustrating “Summer hasn’t really yet arrived in D.C., with more springlike weather over the next week.”

And I’m pleased to announce that I’m runner-up in the Free Verse category of the 4th Annual Rhyme On Poetry Contest. I believe there will be a book published soon, and I’ll share more information about that later.

I hope your summer is going well. Mine is going better than I ever would have imagined.

      Thank you! 🙂

I do not know about Write On yet. I haven’t written anything for it, but I tend to compose in my head and write it all out at the last minute, so it’s possible! How is your piece going? You must be almost finished if you’re ready to enter.
